Jammu, October 9, 2013-The Jammu and Kashmir Sikh Council, under the presidentship of S Harmohinder Singh, has strongly condemn the attack and ransacking of a gurdwara at Bijmour, Andhra Pradesh, by some miscreants. “We strongly warn the Centre and Andhra government to restrict such brutal acts of miscreants. Otherwise Sikhs in other parts of country will be compelled to come on roads,” said Harmohinder Singh.
“It is a prime duty of the government concerned to safeguard gurdwaras and property of the Sikhs residing in their areas,” he added, while demanding strict action against the culprits.
