Chandigarh, October 16, 2013-Former Punjab Chief Minister and permanent invitee to the Congress Working Committee Capt Amarinder Singh today mourned the demise of Devinder Kaur, mother of Justice Surinder Singh Saron. Devinder Kaur breathed her last late last evening. She was cremated today in Chandigarh. People from all walks of life attended her funeral. Capt Amarinder Singh while expressing grief and sorrow over the demise said he shared the grief of the family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
He could not attend the funeral since he was away to Delhi in connection with some meetings.
